Eirik Stavelin

I'm a 23 yeard old student, studying new media at the UiB, Bergen, Norway. From early childhood I've been curious about photography, playing around with my journalist mothers camera. When cameras became digital, I got hooked. Nowadays I find calm in taking my tripod, iPod and camera for a slow walk, whenever I find the time.

Skills

I'm a versatile computer user, working at support at the university in Bergen.
Windows or Macintosh OSX? Both.
I mostly work with standard office applications, as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, mail clients, browsers and various different programs used in education. I?m an advanced Photoshop user, both in photography postproduction and graphics work. I?ve designed and built several web pages, and use technologies as (x)html, css, databases and php. I?m currently the Webmaster for Bergen Student-TV and the academic magazine AKA.

This page (stavelin.com/photo) contains pictures I've taken, and uploaded to flickr. Through a piece of software called Satelliteª 1.0 I fetch the pictures back to my domain, and with lightbox (a plugin included in the Satellite code) you can view them here
